This draft pragramme will be updated as further information becomes availble. Unless otherwise stated, talks will be held at the Gloucestershire Heritage Hub, Clarence Row, Alvin Street, Gloucester, GL1 3DW.

Thursday February 14th. Rococo Gardens, Painswick.

Meet at Car Park entrance 2.20pm for 2.30pm start.

"Painswick Rococo Garden is the country's sole surviving complete rococo garden. Designed in the 1740s as a fanciful pleasure garden for Benjamin Hyett and his guests, this hidden valley offers spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and intriguing garden buildings."

A talk, tour and chance to explore this only surviving garden from the Rococo period. February is also Snowdrop time and the gardens will be covered in swathes of snowdrops. Cost £12. (Refreshments are available at the cafe, but not included in the charge as the gardens are unable to accept party bookings in their peak season).

Thursday, March 21st. The Gloucester City Charters.
2.30pm at The Dunrossil Centre in The Heritage Hub

Julie Courtenay and Rachel Wales, from Gloucestershire Archives, will tell us about the Gloucester City Charters housed in Gloucestershire Archives and about their conservation, which The Friends are supporting by fundraising.

Thursday, May 16th. Coventry Cathedral
7.00pm at The Dunrossil Centre in The Heritage Hub

Sarah Hosking will give an illustrated talk about the Artwork and Craftwork in Coventry Cathedral.

Sunday, June 9th. Another Mystery Tour with John Chandler.

After Bromyard, Stourport, Brecon, Blaenavon and Devizes, where will John take us next? Find out, when we escape from Gloucestershire to destinations unknown on a summer Sunday coach trip. Booking details, timings and pick-up points will be available soon.

Thursday, 11th July. A day out in Coventry by coach.

A chance to explore Coventry Cathedral following Sarah's talk; visit the Medieval Doom painting in Holy Trinity and much more.

Thursday, 10th October. The Friends AGM

Thursday, 28th November. Members' afternoon or evening,
The Dunrossil Centre in The Heritage Hub.

A couple of short talks by members on their research, followed by a chance to socialise with other FoGA members over tea and cake or early mince pies.
